World Café Poznań

On November 16-17th 2017 the HubHarmony project partners have gethered to discuss the progress achieved after the first year of project duration. On the next day representatives of industry have been invited for the World Café meeting to discuss recent innovations and technologies used in logistics operations.

The World Café started with the presentations around IoT technology and its potential use in hubs including such developments as monitoring of the environmental parameters, monitoring and analysis of energy consumption or monitoring of available storage space in a dynamic environment. Next the “brain storming sessions” were held focused on innovative solutions and possible technology application in logistics operations of terminals and distribution centers as well as criteria for benchmarking of inland multimodal hubs. It was agreed necessary to keep dialog with the industry when discussing the new opportunities arising from technologies. Both meetings were held in the Institute of Logistics and Warehousing in Poznan, Poland.
